Eaton's automated manuals — Endurant and UltraShift PLUS — now ship in the majority of new Freightliner, International and Western Star tractors. ServiceRanger is the factory tool for setup, clutch calibration and fault diagnosis, and shops that skip it are turning away the fastest-growing transmission work in the industry.
Eaton coverage: engines, models and systems
Our Eaton diagnostic coverage spans every current platform and the legacy fleets still on the road. The table below maps the engines and vehicle families you can scan, code and program with a dealer-level setup. If your truck is missing, run it through the compatibility checker or ask us on WhatsApp — coverage updates land monthly.
| Platform | Engines / Systems | Model Years | Dealer Software | Required Adapter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Endurant / Endurant XD | 12-speed AMT (Cummins-integrated) | 2017–2026 | ServiceRanger 4 | USB-Link 3 / RP1210 |
| UltraShift PLUS | Fuller AMT line | 2009–2026 | ServiceRanger 4 | USB-Link 3 / RP1210 |
| Procision | Medium-duty dual-clutch | 2015–2026 | ServiceRanger 4 | USB-Link 3 |
| Fuller manuals | RT/FR series with electronic modules | 1998–2026 | ServiceRanger 4 | DPA 5 / USB-Link 3 |
OEM software vs multi-brand: which Eaton setup fits your shop
ServiceRanger 4 (Standard $395/yr, Pro $595/yr) handles fault diagnostics, clutch setup and calibration on every electronic Eaton. Pro adds TCM programming and the XY shifter service routines Endurant work demands. Both tiers coexist with engine software on the same laptop and adapter.
Shops that only touch Eaton iron get the most depth per dollar from the OEM package. Mixed fleets usually pair one OEM license with a multi-brand platform — see the OEM vs aftermarket capability breakdown before you spend.
What it costs — real numbers, not “call for price”
Standard runs $395/yr, Pro $595/yr — add it to any Toughbook kit for $295. Endurant clutch replacements and TCM swaps are Pro-tier jobs; if your fleet runs 2017+ trucks with Cummins X15 + Endurant powertrains, budget for Pro from day one.

Can ServiceRanger set up a clutch on an Endurant transmission?
Yes — clutch touch-point calibration and XY shifter setup are core ServiceRanger functions, Standard tier and up. This is the most common Endurant service procedure after clutch replacement.
Do I need Eaton software if I already have Cummins INSITE?
For Endurant (Cummins-Eaton joint design), INSITE reads basic transmission faults, but clutch setup, TCM programming and XY service require ServiceRanger. Most Cummins shops carry both.
Does ServiceRanger cover old Fuller manual transmissions?
It covers electronically-controlled modules on Fuller transmissions (AutoShift, UltraShift, lightning series). Purely mechanical Fullers have no electronics to diagnose.
