Key insight: many Chinese trucks run Cummins-derived (DCEC) or Weichai engines — Dongfeng Cummins units respond to INSITE, and Weichai has its own WDS software (English available). Mostly yes — DCEC engines are Cummins B/L-series derivatives built under license. INSITE covers engine-side diagnostics well; chassis systems need Chinese-brand tools.
Is English documentation available for Sinotruk/Shacman diagnostics?
Scarce from the factory. Our support includes English-language setup and usage guidance for the Chinese-brand software we supply — the gap we're specifically filling.
